Hi! My name is Maya Patrich - I am an aspiring illustrator and designer for animation based in Vancouver.
I specialize in visual storytelling through illustrations and animations that seek to evoke a sense of whimsy and darkness in character-driven work. My interests include background design, character design, and storytelling.
I recently earned my Bachelor of Media Arts while studying 2D + Experimental Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where I was awarded an entrance scholarship.
When I’m not drawing, you can find me baking a burnt basque cheesecake, or stuffing my face with said cheesecake.
